Join Alby for a day of wet plate exploration in his Studio at Dunfermline’s Fire Station Creative.
Learn the basics of this fascinating print process, creating your very own wet plate to take home and display with pride.
The format of the day will include a little theory followed by a quick lunch*, and an afternoon of wet plate (tintype) creation.
The chemicals used in wet plate collodion can be hazardous. We supply an apron, hypoallergenic latex gloves, and eye protection. Each day will begin with a safety briefing.
Wet plate collodion workshops are suitable for persons 18 years of age and over only.
There will be a short session at the end of the day for discussion and final questions.
You will leave with one handmade wet plate.
